Weekly Activities
A beautiful session delivered by Molly-Ann and Ciara. Free to access, children and their parents/carers can immerse themselves in the world of stories, and storytelling, along with play and craft activities linked to the stories of that week.
A long standing favourite at the centre, now in its 8th Year, Eat, Meet and Greet provides a relaxed social to start the week. With the bonus of cooking and eating some fresh and creative meals planned by Geraldine, our guest cook.
A safe and welcoming space for women to socialise over breakfast each week. Build relationships, offload, laugh and relax. This group has established itself as a must in the weekly calendar, loved by so many over the years. Whilst the focus is meeting to catch up, share and have a brew together, the group has over the years been involved in all sorts, from self-defence and developing the garden project, to menopause talks and clay modelling.
A new favourite, our discussion group, managed by Andy has added some cultural flair to the centre! A really inspiring, educational, insightful, thought provoking session that encourages discussion with a different theme each week but often linked to art, film, music, media and literature.
Spring/Autumn time only, but open to anyone that wants to help manage our new community garden all year round. The new open access garden space has been in development since the summer of 2024 and we always need enthusiastic and/or experienced gardeners to help us manage/develop the space.
Certainly a focus for the winter months, but we are open all year round for you to drop by for a free brew, to relax, socialise, use the Wifi read a book, or find out a bit more about what we do.
