What an absolutely amazing summer we have had at the centre. From storytimes, cooking, breakfast club, craft session, outdoor play and so much more. Kids and parents have had a ball. . Supporting the community is what we love to do. The food we have cooked and shared together has been delicious. Kids have let their imagination run wild, as have many of the parents. . We look forward to seeing what we have in store over the Autumn and Winter. Thank you so much to the fantastic Westcroft team of staff and volunteers, along with everyone that supported us over the summer
We would like to give a big shout out to the fabulous Amanda Glover for all the support that she and the customers at Burnage Tesco have given us. Thank you for this great donation from their book table. It is very much appreciated
We are so pleased to have the honour to be able to share these fantastic paintings done for our centre by the lovely Art Group at Burnage Community Centre. Please do call into Westcroft and have a look.
The staff love to get involved and have some fun along side the kids. Our lovely Estelita and Linda decided they too wanted to draw themselves today. Here are their fabulous self protaits which have taken pride of place on the wall here at Westcroft. Do come and have a look
We now have table and chairs in our library corner from the children. Storytime and crafts are coming to the centre over the summer

The menopause affects so many of us, yet is discussed so little.
To change this, a new Menopause Support Group has been set up at Westcroft Community Centre.
Run by two Westcroft volunteers Linda and Bernie, this is a place where women can talk to others, ask questions, find new ideas and discover how others are coping with their symptoms and what support is available to them.
It will run on the last Thursday of the month from 4.30-6.30pm and you can just drop in.
If you’d like any more information, contact us. A really useful website for information about the menopause for both men and women is www.menopausematters.co.uk.
